Ventilated Rainscreen Facades
The ventilated facade (or ventilated wall) consists of an external coating that is applied to a building that provides, through appropriate anchoring systems, panels not adherent to the structure in such a way to create an air space where natural ventilation is generated due to the chimney effect. This system leads to thermal insulation and a consequent improvement in energy efficiency.
Porcelain Stoneware Ventilated Facade
The ceramic slabs ABKSTONE can be used effectively in this external cladding system. The ventilated rainscreen cladding made with porcelain stoneware slabs, due to their technical and aesthetic characteristics, combine mechanical requirements with a high aesthetic yield and give overall more value to the buildings. Based on the chosen anchoring system, ABKSTONE offers the possibility to select the slabs in the most suitable thickness.
